A Large company in College Point Queens is seeking a Junior HR Recruiter for a 6-8 week temporary assignment. Qualified candidates must have at least 1+ years of HR experience!
$18/hr
Responsibilities:
- Assisting with the recruitment effort for all exempt and nonexempt personnel, and temporary employees
- Posting and managing open positions on internal and external websites
- Preparing new hire orientation packets, creating employee files; maintaining personnel records of personnel
- Following-up on background checks and scheduling of new hire orientations; collecting time-sheets and processing bi-weekly payroll and monthly allowances
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of prior human resources and administration experience
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, prioritize work assignments and meet deadlines
- High attention to detail and problem solving is needed
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Suite (especially Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
