We are in need of a front desk support staff for Counseling and Psychological Services (see details below). Start date Friday May 11 – June 15, 2018 (end date may be extended) 8am – 4pm and as of June 4th hours will change from 9am – 5pm. Hours 35 hours/week PSA Responsibilities: Perform a variety of clerical duties included but not limited to: Greet students, check in appts. and make appts. Scan all initial appt documents. Answer phone, disposition call, make appts, answer questions about CPS services and insurance plan/Health and related services fee. Demonstrated ability to maintain professional composure and manage upset and potentially volatile students and emergent situations on the phone and in person, requesting support from appropriate clinical staff. Ability to multitask and prioritize work in a high volume unit with multiple demands occurring simultaneously. Enter into system and file AETNA referrals Responding to requests for information and ensuring that forms are filled out correctly from students, printing out chart and going to Fed ex to mail. Data entry for various QA projects. Processing faxes as they arrive. Daily scanning chart related materials Distribution of mail Answer questions about insurance or any aspects of Health Check student status in SIS to determine eligibility. Monthly distribution of Pt Satisfaction survey and answer questions about it. Helps staff find office space based on absence in any given day. Maintenance, in coordination with Associate Director, of the room assignment schedule(s) for each floor and drop in offices. Assist Associate Director in maintenance of website information. Maintenance, in coordination with Associate Director, of referral resource lists. Comfort and familiarity with EMR and other electronic systems, including word processing, excel, ability to learn how to manage maintenance of website information and axis tv. Someone with experience working in a health care setting preferably mental health is highly desirable…. Salary: $21/HR
