Full time permanent Rehab Manager (PT, OT or SLP)….

Setting: Skilled Nursing Facility

This position requires meeting educational and state requirements for clinical practice in Occupational Therapy. It also requires effective written and verbal communication skills, leadership skills, effective customer relation skills, ability to exercise mature judgment and initiative in analyzing problems and recommending/implementing solutions to provide effective rehab services.

Responsibilities:

1. 1. Provide direct resident treatment services meeting the requirements of staff level therapists in area of discipline.
   2. Participate in the orientation and review process of rehab employees.
   3. Monitor to ensure documentation and Functional Limitations are completed per Company policy and procedure.
   4. Coordinate all staffing coverage to ensure all resident care is rendered.
   5. Attend Quality Assurance Performance Improvement (QAPI) meeting and complete QAPI requirements
   6. Manage therapist PTO, Productivity and Overtime per Company policy
   7. Track admissions and discharges; and residents in need of evaluations and obtain treatment orders prior to treatment
   8. Ensure physicians are signing POC’s in a timely manner
   9. Ensure Informed Consents are received before pursuing orders for evaluation
   10. Ensure all screens are being completed and tracked in accordance with Company policy
   11. Communicate regularly with Administrator/DON/MDS Coordinator to identify/resolve any potential issues or problems
   12. Manage appropriate caseload as directed by Regional Director
   13. Maintain rehab department equipment per policies and procedure
