Possible temp to perm for the right candidate (low to mid 30K) Start Date: ASAP-indef Supply Chain area is located within Vanderbilt Clinic(630 W 168th Street, 5th/ 8th Floor) The hiring manager is Miriam Apatano & Jon Morgan. 11-7 Mon-Thur and 9:30am -5:30pm on Fridays Supply Chain, Equipment & Facilities Clerk Title: Clerk B (C3) Position Summary Assist with all aspects of receiving and dispensing supplies across all Vanderbilt Clinics, Pediatric Haven Clinic, Dentcare Clinics and Faculty Practice sites. Assist with ongoing tagging and maintenance of equipment across all preclinical and clinical areas. Responsible for maintaining high standard of presentation within all clinical and preclinical facilities. Assists in ensuring all CUMC facility requests are completed within any clinical area, ranging from routine cleaning to major projects. Reporting Relationships I. Reports to: Supply Chain, Equipment & Facilities Coordinators II. Who reports to this position: none Ill. Frequent Contacts: Has daily contact with students, clinic staff, and faculty. Regular contact with contracted vendors and Columbia University Medical Center staff and management. Position Duties Assists with the receiving and dispensing of supplies throughout all the COM patient care areas {including offsite locations) and the preclinical training lab. This will include lifting heavy items and moving deliveries from basement locations across all clinic and preclinic areas. Assists with asset tagging of all appropriate supplies. Maintains current knowledge of current stock levels and locations, and understands general supply needs across all clinical and preclinical areas. Responsible for reporting any malfunctioning equipment through preclinic and patient care areas through the online ticket system. Some liaison with outside vendors will be required. Assists with initial asset tagging program and ongoing record keeping across all equipment. Assists supervisor in identifying and reporting any disrepair across the preclinical and clinical areas, including d'irect contact with CUMC Facilities Management where necessary. Assists in maintaining a clean and safe environment in all lab areas, specifically ensuring that equipment in the labs is cleaned regularly and sinks are draining sufficiently.
