This position works with the business units and other IT staff to design, architect, administer and maintain the Company’s servers and network solutions. The Senior Systems Engineer, advises the Manager, Enterprise & Engineering Application Services on standards and policies. The incumbent is responsible for administering and maintaining the Company’s multi-user computer systems including: Microsoft Active Directory, Citrix servers, VMware vSphere 6.5, Office 365, systems backup and recovery, network and server security, high availability applications (IOL, SCADA), multi-user server-based computer systems and applications software. Ensures internal network security, and protects against unauthorized access through the implementation of security software, policies and monitoring procedures. Knowledge: Practical hands on working experience with the following: Project management, knowledge of project lifecycle, ability to design and execute project plans, develop project charters and scope documents, troubleshooting skills, well-written system documentation Operating Systems, Server Software Microsoft Windows Server 2008 R2 /2012 R2 and Active Directory, web services, Citrix XenApp 7, VMware vSphere 6.5, Windows 7/10, TCP/IPv4, DNS, DHCP, WSUS.
