Analyst
Select Responsibilities include working closely with the Vice President of Business Development to:
– Identify and implement solutions to maximize Net Asset Value and sustainable FFO growth through daily coordination with Finance, Acquisition, Leasing, Property Management, Construction teams as well as a variety of external advisors and consultants
– Perform valuation analyses of prospective investment opportunities, with an emphasis on corporate-level and portfolio transactions
– Produce consistent, high-quality presentation materials for Board of Directors, Investment & Finance Committee, equity research analysts, public investors and various members of Executive Team
– Maintain an in-depth knowledge and understanding of covering equity research analysts’ financial models
– Prepare quarterly asset-level and portfolio-level reporting metrics for use in supplemental reporting materials
– Interact with institutional investors and respond to requests in a detailed and timely manner
– Provide ad-hoc analysis on special projects as requested by the Chairman, CEO and President
Requirement and Qualifications:
– Undergraduate degree required, with concentration in real estate, finance, economics, accounting or related area preferred.
– 1-4 years of professional experience, ideally in investment banking, real estate investment or relevant professional experience
– Key skills required include financial modeling and analytical skills, writing, and presentation delivery
– Experience must include demonstrable knowledge of valuation techniques for both asset-level commercial real estate investments and corporate-level REIT valuation.
– Ability to read and understand REIT financial statements, including supplemental materials
– Strong business and financial acumen with previous experience working in team environments managing projects
– Ability to work in a fast paced dynamic environment and to handle multiple projects at a time
– Detail-oriented, flexible, and decisive
– Ability to work under pressure and cope with deadlines
– Ability to consistently produce quality work in a timely manner
– Adaptability to changing demands
– Advanced proficiency in Excel and Powerpoint required. Experience with Argus preferred
