Compensation Analyst

This is a potential temp to hire position…no guarantee of being hired into a staff position. Candidate would be invited to interview along with other qualified candidates. Grade 13. Salary is $90K…some flexibility for a candidate with greater than 4 years experience in compensation. eporting to the Director of Compensation, the Sr. Compensation Analyst provides compensation consulting to schools and departments within the University. Works closely with HR Client Managers and HR departments to determine needs and compensation solutions. Evaluates market and peer compensation to determine appropriate compensation benchmarks. Supports the Compensation department with annual processes including the year-end merit and compensation survey matching. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: -Work with HR Client Managers to provide compensation solutions for client groups. Review external market and internal equity data to determine compensation rates. Review compensation issues within departments and schools and develop viable solutions. -Manage the annual merit increase process and provide training and guidance to users and HR Client Managers. Prepare and test the system, train users, maintain user tables, prepare data loads and audit increases entered into the system. -Develop, review and provide compensation positioning reports based on market data. Utilizing Access or Excel, create compensation reports for HR Client Managers to establish a proactive approach and a strategic outlook on compensation. -Work with HR Client Managers and HR teams to support the completion of compensation surveys, including the IvyPlus Survey matching and submission process. Review matches with HR teams, update database with changes, prepare survey file to be submitted and manage results data for reporting. Bachelor's degree required; preferably in Business Management or a similar major. Minimum of 4 years of compensation experience supporting a client by providing compensation market and internal equity analyses and supporting an annual salary increase process required. Must have excellent Excel knowledge including working with formulas. Must be able to identify trends in market data and communicate the information to clients. Experience with salary ranges and FLSA reviews. Ability to navigate within Microsoft Access, create queries and run reports. Prior experience within a nonprofit, healthcare or higher education organization is helpful….. $48/HR
