PROGRAM DIRECTOR (Stabilization Rehabilitation Reintegration)

Brooklyn location 


Program Director reports to the Director of Quality Assurance and Clinical Performance, responsible for the management of the residential program.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned.


  • Day to day management of the residence and services (stabilization, rehabilitation and reintegration)
  • Maintain sufficient on-site or on-call staff to meet the needs of resident population
  • Document the percentage of time of shared staff
  • Identify a clinical supervisor
  • Hiring and/or designating a Health Coordinator to ensure the provision of  education, risk reduction, counsel and referral services to all residents regarding HIV and AIDS, tuberculosis, hepatitis, and other communicable diseases
  • Maintain sufficient staff to ensure that space and equipment of the service is clean and in working order
  • Conduct performance evaluations, recommendations for promotions, evaluates for discipline and terminations of staff
  • Ensure and document a training plan for each staff person based upon individual needs
  • Ensure that all personnel policies, procedures and clinical regulatory requirements are adhered to by staff;
  • Administrative functions and reporting, including preparing annual budgets, controlling monthly expenses, scheduling staff and issuing required monthly reports;
  • Develop relationships with appropriate government agencies and community service providers


  • Qualified Health Professional (QHP)
  • 7 years of experience in the chemical dependence treatment field
  • Master’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Mental Health or related field
  • License issued by NYS in good standing
